Advocate On The Availability Of Sanitarium Pad.
Limited sanitary pads and special rooms to girls still challenge period that has led to most of girls especial those in school failed to achieve their dreams. Our organization works to prepare advocacy programs this has enabled Service providers to become aware of the matter and some government actions are in place to address the issue.
Also we help adolescent girls and young mothers to be aware of issues related to menstruation especially on the importance of safe hygienic menstruation to girls, the event enabled girls to have a clear understanding of menstruation and the challenges of teen pregnancy. Boxes of sanitary pads was provided to girls who participated to the event as part of showing the importnance of safe and hygean during this situation to girls.
Addressing GBV for a better tomorrow
Adolescence Gate Organization work to address issues that increasing vulnerability for young girls in Ilemela, Nyamagana, and Misungwi our focus is mainly on marginalized, Adolescent Girls aged between:
- Earlier Adolescent 10yrs to 14years.
- Middle Adolescent Girls 15yrs to 17yrs.
- Latest Adolescent Girsl 17yrs to 18yrs.
Our response target is to improve the sexual and reproductive health (SRH), rights, and well-being of Adolescent Girls found in and out of school. we also link our intervention by seeking the engagement of society, communities, parents, guardians, and adolescent girls together with boys to respond to the challenges faced by adolescents.
In the process, we use the Theory of change of Social Benefits, Economic Benefits, Education Benefits, and Health Benefits.
Advocate On Adolescent Girls Healthcare Rights
Adolescent girls face risks of gender-based violence in different communities all this because of their Age of their transitional at this age many of then are not able to make right decision hence this expose them into physical, Emotional, Sexual violence and this exposes adolescent girls into STD’s.
Adolescent Gate Organization uses the existing systems and work close with Government Official such Social welfare Officers, Community Health workers and child protection committees to reach and address some of negative cultural practices and Norms which limit adolescent girls potentials.
